Phillip is the Principal of Haywards Solicitors and is an accredited specialist in employment and industrial law with the Law Society of New South Wales.

 

Phillip has over 28 years experience in industrial relations and employment law and has worked in senior roles at the Australian Mine Metals Associations, the New South Wales Chamber of Manufacturers, now known as Australian Business Limited, and the New South Wales Employers Federation, now known as Employers First.

 

Before opening his own practice in 1995, Phillip was a Senior Solicitor with Freehill Hollingdale

& Page and a Senior Associate with Minter Ellison. Phillip holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Bachelor of Commerce in Industrial Relations from the University of New South Wales.

Kathryn was admitted to practice as a solicitor in 1991 and holds a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Bachelor of Science and Diploma of Education (with Honours) from the University of New South Wales.

 

Kathryn is a senior practitioner with extensive experience in all types of litigation including Employment and Industrial Law and Personal Injury litigation.

 

Kathryn has acted for and against large financial institutions and has experience in the NSW and Federal Industrial Relations Commissions. She also has broad practical experience in the State and Federal jurisdictions at all levels including the Federal Court, the NSW Supreme Court, the District Court and Local Court.

Beverley was admitted to practice as a solicitor in 1988. She has spent over 20 years of that period in private practice as the managing partner of a medium sized firm and as a sole practitioner in Sydney’s inner west. Beverley has extensive experience in litigation generally, including conduct of actions in the Supreme, Federal, District, Local and Family Courts. She has experience in a wide range of dispute resolution including employment issues. Beverley is an accredited mediator with the Institute of Arbitrators & Mediators of Australia, and is an Approved Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner. She mediates regularly and has a particular interest in the use of alternate dispute resolution in all jurisdictions.

Michelle has over 14 years experience as a solicitor in various aspects of the law. She principally practices employment law and general litigation.  She has significant experience in both federal and state courts involving issues, which both employers and employees face in the workplace.

 

Michelle has experience in employment law including matters litigated in the Industrial Relations Court of NSW, the Chief Industrial Magistrate’s Court, as well as experience in the Supreme, Federal, District, and Local Courts. In addition to her employment law practice, Michelle manages debt recovery actions, general commercial matters, and a range of civil litigations issues.
